As much as I enjoy showing dogs and being on the road weekend after weekend, I have now decided to quit showing clients' dogs and from now on concentrate on getting my judging license, something I have been wanting to do for several years.

I want to thank all of you who had, and still have, faith in me.  I certainly much appreciate all those years showing your dogs.

I have met several handlers I feel comfortable refering and will be more than happy to give you their names and contact information upon request.

Ziggy - Basset Hound

Am./Can. Ch. Obie's Ziggy Of Huffman Hill

Ziggy very quickly obtained his American and Canadian (shown to his Canadian title by Helene Dufour of Bassetarium Bassets) .  In the US, Ziggy was Winners Dog at the 2007 Potomac Basset Hound Specialty and won another major that same weekend then finished going Best of Breed over Specials to comple his title, all from the 12-18 months class.

Ziggy is quite the showman, always making the judges smile.  One of the few dogs I know that actually has a grin on its face while going around the ring!!  Ziggy will always have a special place in my heart.

I only had the honour of showing Wylie over the Louisville, KY weekend but sure was a successful one with a Reserve Winners Dog to a 5 point major and Winners Dog for a 5 point major the day before the 2007 Bedlington Club Of America National Specialty.  Michael successfully finished him getting his second major at the ColumbiaTerrier Specialty and will now be showing him as a Specials on a limited basis.  Watch for this promising young boy!

Ms Blu quickly completed her Canadian championship (in 4 days) and finishing at the Kerry Blue Terrier Club of Canada National Specialty going Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex over Specials under breeder-judge Alexander Ivanov of Irish Hippy Kerry Blues in Russia.

She will now be shown in the States by Klayton Harris.  First weekend out in Atlanta Georgia, September 20-23 2007, Ms Blu and Klayton win Best of breed 3 out of 4 days over top ranked specials!!  Great start for Ms Blu and Klayton!
