Born July 7th 2000, River came to me from Charlotta Mellin of Rollick's kennel at 3 months old and right then it was love at first sight. She very quickly became my # 1 dog of all time, even as a baby, my best friend and my little heart and soul. And like if that alone wasn't enough, River has proven to be a top winning dog and wonderful producer.

As a puppy, River won a Best Puppy in Show, was Best in Sweeps and Best Puppy in Specialty at the Canadian National in 2001. She was never shown a lot as a puppy, choosing to let her mature and so she finished the weekend of the Canadian National Specialty the year after.

She started and completed her American championship in 2003. She was awarded BW at the USKBTC Travelling Specialty for a 5 point major and finished with another major at the Columbia Terrier Association. She was shown here and there, in Canada and in the US and earned a few group placements on both sides of the border and group wins in Canada. Bred towards the end of 2003, she gave birth to her first litter of puppies on Valentine's Day of 2004. She has to her credit from that first litter 4 puppies that were shown, Cruiser, Cybele (BISS Can. Ch. Symphonie's A Piece O'My Heart), Riley and Benni, who is on his way to his American championship.

She was back in the show ring in June of 2004, winning groups, the Canadian National Specialty and 2 All-Breed BIS.

In 2005, she was shown as a special in the US, finishing the year as # 2 Kerry Blue and # 1 Female.

2006 was an incredible year for us with 3 all-breed US BIS, 3 BISS including the USKBTC National Specialty finishing the year as US # Kerry all-system.

Her second litter was born in September of 2007. So far, two of those puppies have completed their Canadian championship, Mitch and Zach.

Retired from the show ring, her last litter was born on New Year's day of 2009. This time bred to Int. Ch. Opus De Chapeau. From this litter, two puppies, Diva and Myrtille are already pointed in Canada with Best Puppy in group wins and Sophie is a Best Puppy in Group winner in the US.
